Hello There. This isn't an enquiry but an email just to say how invaluable I've found your site. My 14 month old son has a milk allergy and several intolerances including wheat and egg. This was picked up around 7 months and until coming across your site a few months ago, I was finding it extremely difficult to find suitable finger foods for him. However, having found Ulula, I would recommend it to anyone who has a child with an allergy or intolerance as the help you receive from dieticians at the hospital is fairly minimal. I always look forward to receiving your orders, especially as there's always a lovely note accompanying it and my son loves the biscuits unsurprisingly.
Good Luck with the business and if I come across anyone whose child is unfortunate enough to have allergies/intolerances, I will certainly be telling them about you. Thankyou, you've turned a desperate mum into one who can now offer their child a variety of finger foods.

The allergy aware products supplied by Ulula are either gluten free or without cow’s milk protein. If there is neither gluten nor cow’s milk protein in the products they will appear in both categories.
Coeliac disease affects the small intestine and is due to a sensitivity to gluten, which is a protein found in wheat. Similar proteins are found in rye, barley and, to a much smaller extent, oats. Symptoms may occur at any age and may include weight loss, vomiting and diarrhoea.
A baby predisposed to coeliac disease could, after the introduction of gluten-containing solids, develop pale, bulky, offensive smelling stools, and become miserable, lethargic and generally fail to thrive.
Cow's milk is usually the first foreign protein (substance) encountered by infants.
Milk contains many protein fractions (allergens) that may cause allergic reactions. The two main components are whey and casein, and an individual may be allergic to either or both. The casein is the curd that forms when milk is left to go sour, and the whey is the watery fraction which is left after the curd is removed.
Clinically abnormal reactions to cow's milk protein (CMP) may be due to the interaction between one or more milk proteins and one or more immune mechanisms.
Reactions where the immune system is involved, which are mainly immediate IgE-mediated reactions (involving IgE-antibodies) are defined as cow's milk protein allergy (CMPA).
Reactions not involving the immune system are defined as cow's milk protein intolerance (CMP).
