Sabine Attends BioFach 2008

Sabine, founder of Ulula, made a visit to Nuremberg in February to attend the world’s leading organic trade fair. It was a fantastic opportunity to network, attend workshops and conferences and most importantly, source new products to bring to Ulula's growing range.

Sabine comments, "the fair was buzzing with lots of stands, lots of organic food... I spoke to all my suppliers and Holle invited me for an evening with food and music organised by the BioFach."

Holle

Holle will be launching a Nursing Tea in the summer. Its Follow-On Formula 3 milk will be available in English packaging soon and there will also be new packaging for the porridge range at the end of the year.

Werz

Werz has lots of new products and we have just ordered the Organic Gluten Free Cheese Fingers which are really yummy! A comprehensive company profile will be published on the website in the next few months.

ErdmannHAUSER

ErdmannHAUSER knows that all grains have their own properties, making them better for baking certain products. In order to maximise these characteristics ErdmannHAUSER has just invested in a new mill. The company also uses a special method called TAU which makes the grain more easily available for human digestion. Products made by this method are suitable for babies, children and those recuperating from illness. From our own family experience they're great for youngsters who wear a brace! The TAU grains can be used in porridge, soup, drinks and even waffles and pancakes! Ulula will be introducing some of these produts later in the year, along with some easy to follow recipes. So, watch out for more info on this fantastic company in the coming months.

Home baking has seen a huge growth in popularity over recent years and Ulula has made a very timely discovery we'd love to share with you.

We are really excited by an organic product range from an Austrian, family-run company with a long tradition of milling. As well as delicious bread, cakes and biscuits, the company produces beautifully packaged children's baking sets so that you can bake with your children and teach them valuable lessons about food and have enormous fun! We hope to be stocking some of these lovely sets in the coming months.
