How Ulula is Working to Keep Prices Down

At Ulula we aim to offer a high level of honest, efficient and personal service.

Due to a worldwide increase in the prices of raw materials, a number of our suppliers have had to increase their prices.

We are sure you are already aware of recent increases in the prices of, for example, milk and cereals as well as skin care products.

Our suppliers make sure they source the very best raw ingredients through working closely with Demeter and organic farmers rather than sourcing from the anonymous world market. As part of their fair trade policy, they have had to accept and pass on to their partners some price increases. Demeter oats, for example, have risen in price by 43%; barley by 39%; spelt by 24% and millet by 25%. Milk products have risen by an average of 22%. The increases passed on to partners such as Ulula is, however, significantly less.

To minimise the impact of these increases on Ulula customers, we have bought in extra stock while prices have been lower and will continue to sell at our usual price levels for as long as possible.
