Organic Baby Porridges - Preparing the Porridges

The Holle organic baby porridge range is produced using whole grains, resulting in a light, wholesome and easily digestible baby cereal that is ideal for weaning. Quick and simple bottle and porridge meals can be prepared according to your baby's developmental stage.

According to your baby's age, each of the Holle organic baby porridges may be given:

As a bottle feed
As a tasty porridge
As a milk-free fruit porridge
As a addition to a vegetable porridge

Milk Baby Porridge After 4 Months

Boil 100 ml water together with 100 ml full cream milk and cool to approximately 50°C. Pour into a dish and stir in 5 tablespoons of organic baby porridge (approximately 25 g and allow to cool to approximately 37°C.

Bottle Feeds with Baby Porridge After 4 Months

Boil 100 ml water together with 100 ml full cream milk and cool to approximately 50°C. Add 2 teaspoons lactose sugar and 2-3 tablespoons of organic baby porridge (approximatey 13 ) and stir. Pour into the feeding bottle and allow to cool to approximately 37°C.

Milk Baby Porridge or Bottle Feed After 6 Months

Instead of full cream milk and water you can now use 100% full cream milk. Add the other ingredients as above. Sweeten to taste.

Baby Porridge and Baby Milk Formula

When not using fresh milk to prepare a baby porridge, Holle Organic Infant Formula 1 or Follow-on Formula 2 may be used as a substitute. Firstly, prepare one of the Infant Formulas according to the instructions. This is then added to the Holle Organic Baby Porridge to create a smooth consistency. Ready to eat! Organic Milk Cereals

For a quick preparation with water, Holle offers three different instant milk porridges, suitable as part of a mixed diet from 4 months upwards. The cereal porridges with milk have a mild flavour to suit babies, are satisfyingly filling and easy to digest.

Boil 130 ml water and cool to approximately 50°C. Pour into a dish and stir in 4-5 tablespoons of organic baby milk cereal (approximately 40 g) and allow to cool to approximately 37°C.

Baby Porridges & Cereals - Important Notes

Please follow the instructions on the your baby porridg packaging carefully. The correct amount of ingredients will ensure your baby receives the correct nutrients.

Always prepare food fresh for each feed. Do not use leftovers.

Never leave your baby to suck the bottle continuously, due to the risk of tooth decay.

Due to the risk of overheating, please do not heat baby porridges in a microwave.
