Alb-Gold Organic Einkorn Drelli [Short Dated]

Einkorn (triticum monococcum) was the original wheat, developed over 20,000 years ago. Some even name it as the Great Granddad of wheat. Einkorn growing started to make a slow come back in Europe. It grows on tall stalks which are distinguished by their short, flat, two row seed head which enclose small grains in an inedible husk. There have been promising tests with people who are intolerant to wheat that they can better cope with Einkorn due to a different gluten structure. We can tell you, the taste is lovely, nutty and full and it goes perfectly with any sauce, in bakes and salads.
