Our favourite tip for making porridge with these flakes is to add the additional ingredients as the porridge is cooking, so that the buckwheat flakes absorb the yummy flavours. Try adding, slices of banana, honey, ground cinnamon, berries, raisins – the choices are endless! Simply add your buckwheat flakes to boiling water and allow to heat through for a few minutes before you add in the other ingredients as you cook the porridge slowly, gradually adding more liquid (milk, water, milk substitute) until it is the consistency you prefer. The porridge should be ready in about 20 minutes. Yum!
