The whole grain is carefully soaked and almost brought to germination. Through the subsequent drying, the grain develops its full flavour. Only then is it coarsely crushed in the mill.Buckwheat Bulgur is ideal for burgers, in salads, soups and many other vegetarian and vegan dishes.

This makes just as good if not better bulgur as the wheat version, it tastes nice, it is easy to prepare, and it is a very easy way to introduce more buckwheat (and therefore less gluten) into one's diet. We eat ours as the main dish mixed with chopped vegetables, but I am looking forward to trying it in porridge-type recipes, too!

Buckwheat is a staple food where I come from. It is a magical grain that is really underestimated by many..Of course I wanted my child to love it as much as I do. But she was not sure about texture I think of the 'normal' buckwheat. And this bulgur buckwheat was an answer (I never heard of it before I saw it on Ulula...)..I was so happy to find it here and we can all now enjoy this amazing grain - I make it with water or milk and add a tiny bit of butter - clean plates and happy tummies!! Thank you so much!
This bulgur has a very flowery and delicate taste. It cooks well and doesn't get sticky like some other brands of buckwheat on the market. It is also an excellent source of protein and iron, and it is also gluten free.
