Glass Grater for Weaning Babies Glass graters have been used for generations by mums to prepare pureed fruit and vegetables when first weaning their babies. Nowadays, mums often find it difficult to make a very fine puree with modern blenders. Using a glass grater gives you exactly the right consistency of fruit or vegetables you need when preparing your home made baby food. Experience shows us that no other grater can achieve this consistency with so little mess or waste.

Starting to wean your baby is an exciting time for both baby and mum. Your baby will take only a small amount of fruit to begin with, perhaps start with apple. Ulula's advice is to always use organic fruit and vegetables whenever possible and to not cook the fruit and vegetables so that all the vitamins which are sensitive to heat are preserved. This has the great added benefit of getting your baby used to the taste of fresh fruit. Raw food has a high vitality and strengthens the body. Occasionally it happens that all the information in a living raw food are too much for a young baby starting to wean. Therefore, it is important to start slowly and perhaps give only the juice from an apple collected in the glass grater. Cut the apples in quarters, remove pips and core and grate on the glass grater (nail friendly!) to leave you with just the peel in your hand. As your child gets older you can introduce a greater range of pureed fresh fruit and vegetables, lightly steaming where appropriate. To enhance your home made baby food add a small amount of the fresh pureed fruit and vegetables to a heated Holle vegetable jar or one of the Holle Organic Porridges. Do not use metal cutlery to clean the grater. Not suitable for microwave.

Holle Organic Baby Tea Organic Baby Tea is a delicious herbal tea suitable for babies from 2 weeks of age to help calm and relax. The carefully chosen herbs are also effective in helping to relieve wind. Older children also find this tea beneficial and enjoy the gentle taste.

Never leave your baby to suck the bottle continuously, due to risk of tooth decay. Because of the risk of overheating, do not heat in a microwave.
Please do not use the tea as a substitute for a milk feed.
Preparation:
Pour approx. 200 ml of fresh, boiling water over tea bag and allow to infuse for 5-10 min. Remove tea bag and pour Holle Organic Baby Tea into a bottle. Allow to cool to approx. 37?C before feeding.
Sweetening the tea is not necessary.

Holle Organic Baby Rice Porridge Rice is used as staple by half of the world?s population and has a long tradition in cultivation. Only wholegrain rice contains all eight essential amino acids as well as necessary vitamins and minerals. Holle Organic Baby Millet Porridge with Apple and Pear Organic Millet Porridge with Apple and Pear is a multi-purpose organic cereal porridge.
Quickly and easily prepared without cooking. Can be fed as a porridge in combination with fresh milk or as a non-dairy fruit or vegetable meal (some babies prefer a fruity taste with their vegetables). Instead of fresh milk, the porridge may be prepared using breast milk, water, Holle Organic Infant Formula 1, Holle Organic Infant Follow-on Formula 2 (from 6 months) or Holle Goat Milk Nutrition (from 12 months).
The whole grain is prepared into a light, easily digestible and baby-friendly food. Holle Organic Semolina Baby Porridge Holle Organic Semolina Porridge is made from biodynamically grown pure wheat. Holle doesn't use hybrid grain varieties and therefore the organic semolina porridge is suitable for babies from 6 months onwards.
