Holle Organic Baby Weaning Oil
Holle Organic Baby Weaning Oil is the perfect supplement for essential nutrients for your baby. When weaning starts and the amount of energy and other nutrients taken in through milk decreases, there can be a period when your baby?s body doesn?t get everything needed for optimum growth and development. Holle worked over two years to develop the perfect recipe for this unique oil to help your baby thrive. And of course it is suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
Advice
With this unique oil you can supplement your baby?s diet through the transition to family meals and replace some of the very specific nutritional benefits of breast milk and baby milks lost during this process.
From the age when your baby is ready for solid foods, organic baby weaning oil becomes an important part of a balanced diet. It is an excellent source of energy, the essential fatty acids omega 3 and omega 6 and other nutrients, which is why Holle recommends adding 1-2 teaspoons of baby weaning oil to milk-free meals such vegetable, potato and meat based meals as well as porridges made with water. Holle also recommends adding the weaning oil to its porridges and jars.
Use as directed when starting to weaning your baby. Do not use before 4 months of age.
To ensure your baby gets the optimum nutrients Holle recommends the following amounts to be stirred into each 200g of food:
- Vegetable or vegetable and meat based meals: 2 tsp;
- Fruit based meals: 1 tsp;
- Milk-free porridge meals: 1 tsp.
For smaller amounts, simply adjust the amount of oil you stir in proportionately.

Holle Organic Millet Baby Porridge
Millet is one of the oldest cultivated cereals in the world. Next to Holle Organic Rice Porridge the Holle Organic Millet Porridge is the most popular gluten free grain to start weaning your baby onto solids.
Millet is very rich in unsaturated fatty acids and has a significant amount of minerals, vitamins and trace elements - in particular silicic acid, which influences the healthy growths of bones, hair, nails and skin.
Holle Organic Millet Porridge is easy to prepare with either breastmilk, baby milk formula or even plain water, basically all liquids your baby is used to drinking. Please read the instructions on the packaging. As a single grain porridge it is suitable from 4 months or stage one of weaning onwards.

Holle Organic Baby Rice Porridge
Rice is used as staple by half of the world?s population and has a long tradition in cultivation. Only wholegrain rice contains all eight essential amino acids as well as necessary vitamins and minerals. The rice Holle uses for the Holle Organic Rice Porridge is grown in a dry process in Italy (as opposed to in paddy fields) to biodynamic standards - the highest organic standards.

Holle Organic Baby Millet Porridge with Apple and Pear
Organic Millet Porridge with Apple and Pear is a multi-purpose organic cereal porridge.
Quickly and easily prepared without cooking. Can be fed as a porridge in combination with fresh milk or as a non-dairy fruit or vegetable meal (some babies prefer a fruity taste with their vegetables). Instead of fresh milk, the porridge may be prepared using breast milk, water, Holle Organic Infant Formula 1, Holle Organic Infant Follow-on Formula 2 (from 6 months) or Holle Goat Milk Nutrition (from 12 months).
Advice
The whole grain is prepared into a light, easily digestible and baby-friendly food. The full goodness of the grain is released with heat and moisture into the cereal and is therefore ideal for the development and growth of a baby. Through the use of the whole grain kernel, the natural contents and nutrients of the grain and seedling are retained.

Holle Organic Rolled Oats make a perfect breakfast for your baby at stage 2 of weaning. After introducing your baby to the gluten free porridges rice and millet at stage one of weaning, rolled oats porridge can be given. (Single grain porridges should ideally be given before moving on to multi grain baby cereals like the Holle Organic Baby Muesli Porridge.) Oats contains gluten but not in a high amount.

Holle Organic Spelt Baby Porridge
Spelt is an ancient grain dating back seven thousand years. It is naturally high in soluble dietary fibre, and therefore has stool softening properties. Compared to wheat, spelt is also higher in the B-complex vitamins and both simple and complex carbohydrates. Spelt contains significantly more protein. Due to the nature of this grain, people who are gluten intolerant are able to include spelt-based foods within their diet. You should always consult your health visitor or doctor if you think your baby has gluten intolerance.
Easy to prepare by using either breast milk, baby formula or just water for a delicious and wholesome porridge for your baby. Great if added to your home made vegetable puree for a vegetable-grain based lunch for your baby.

Holle Organic Semolina Baby Porridge
Holle Organic Semolina Porridge is made from biodynamically grown pure wheat. Holle doesn't use hybrid grain varieties and therefore the organic semolina porridge is suitable for babies from 6 months onwards. After your baby has tried the grains rice, millet, oats and spelt - semolina is another single grain to include in your baby's diet during the weaning time.

Holle Organic Baby Milk Cereal With Bananas
Holle organic milk cereal with bananas has a mild fruity flavour that babies just love. Satisfyingly filling but still easy to digest as the starch is already broken down. Ideal as a nighttime porridge and to get babies used to a spoon and a new diet.
Holle Organic Milk Cereal With Bananas is made from 99% premium organic ingredients. It is unsweetened and quickly made up.
Advice
Preparation: Boil 130ml water and cool to approximately 50 degrees centrigrade. Pour into a dish and stir in 4 to 5 tablespoons of Organic Milk Cereal With Bananas (40g). Stir and allow to cool to approximately 37 degrees centigrade. Ready!

Always feed the porridge to your baby with a spoon. Do not give to babies under 6 months as a substitute for breast milk.
Always prepare fresh food for each feed. Do not use leftovers. Due to the risk of overheating do not heat in a microwave. Store in a cool, dry place. Once opened use within 2-3 weeks.
