Werz Organic Buckwheat Flakes are gluten free and can be used for cooking breakfast porridge, added in soups, sauces or together with vegetables. Buckwheat has a mild nutty flavour and contains the essential amino acid lysine which rarely occurs in most grains.
Basic preparation: Bring liquid of your choice to boil, add Werz Organic Buckwheat Flakes and stir well. Cook for about one minute, cover and leave to soak for another 3-5 minutes.
Soup: 50g Werz Organic Buckwheat Flakes, 500ml liquid (e.g. water or milk)
