Amethyst is a variety of quartz that has fused with manganese and iron during its formation. The strength of its distinctive colour is determined by how much iron is present in its content. Amethyst is a very soothing stone, and is commonly used to relieve negative emotions such as stress and to dispel anger. These tumbled stones are opaque medium to dark purple, with traces of white in larger sizes. The perfect gift for the keen collector of crystals, rocks and minerals, or as a stocking filler or advent gift.
The size and shape you receive will differ from the image shown due to the natural nature of each stone. Each stone is approximately 2-4cm. They are sold individually and choosen at random.
