This is the only face mask from Dr. Hauschka that you mix yourself just before application. This method of preparation allows the Clarifying Clay Mask to take full effect. Loess clay with nasturtium and witch hazel deeply cleanse pores while actively binding with and loosening dirt and sebum, lifting and drawing them from the skin. Blackheads are softened, skin is soothed and the appearance of redness and blemishes is diminished. Clarifying Clay Mask is suitable for all skin conditions and is especially helpful for blemished skin prone to inflammation. It is also enjoyed by men.

Directions for use: Use Clarifying Clay Mask once or twice each week. Blend 1-2 heaped teaspoons with an equal amount of water to create a smooth paste. Apply the mask onto the face, neck and décolleté but avoid the eye area. For blemished and oily skin, remove after 5-10 minutes with plenty of warm water. For skin which tends to be dry and sensitive, apply a thinner layer and remove after 3-5 minutes. Prepare your skin first with Clarifying Steam Bath. Adding a little Facial Toner as well as water to the Clarifying Clay Mask for increased effectiveness.
