Description
This is a super winter butterhead lettuce, very hardy and resistant to cold, wet conditions. It has a lovely flavour and texture. A cut-and-come-again lettuce, autumn sow for baby leaves after 6-8 weeks or protect with cloches and leave to mature for a spring cutting. It can be cultivated outside or in an unheated green house. You can also sow this from February and on into the summer.
