Making Easter crafts with little ones doesn’t need to be complicated, and sometimes the simplest materials spark the most joy. This sweet toilet roll bunny is perfect for an afternoon of springtime crafting. A few snips, a dab of glue and a splash of paint, and you’ll have a cheerful bunny ready to hop into your Easter celebrations.

You will need:

  • Toilet roll
  • Felt-tip pens or paint
  • An empty egg shell or paper craft egg
  • Card
  • Glue
  • Small flowers

How to make your Easter bunny:

  1. From the card, cut two long ears, two arms and a strip to become the vase.
  2. Stick the ears to the top of the egg and the arms to the sides of the tube.
  3. Roll up and glue the strip of card to make the little vase. Decorate and attach it to the bunny's arms.
  4. Give the tube a splash of spring colour, or add small hand‑drawn details to bring your bunny to life.
  5. Once everything is dry, glue the egg (or paper egg) on top of the toilet roll tube to become the bunny’s head, and draw on a sweet little face.
  6. Fill the vase with the small flowers and your Easter bunny is ready to hop into spring.
