Bajo Lacing Sheep with Lamb
Baa baa! This sheep is tied to her little lamb and not only because of the bounds of motherhood! This is a simple game involving threading the coloured laces through the holes. Children can lace the strings to create different patterns like crosses or dashes. Lacing toys are classic examples of toys developing children’s fine motor skills. Holding, threading and undoing are sewing motions that help the hand practice different skills needed for writing and tying shoe laces. Every Bajo toy includes a wooden element for children to get to know, see and feel wood in its natural state and it is this contact with wood and its friendly warmth that, Bajo believe, are crucial steps in forming environmental consciousness.
