Nuremberg has been making Lebkuchen for centuries, and Wicklein remain among the very best. These organic, vegan Elisen gingerbreads are their most premium variety, made with an impressive 28% hazelnuts and almonds, richly spiced with cinnamon and warming seasonal spices, and lifted with orange peel and dried figs. Soft, dense and deeply festive, each biscuit is finished with either a delicate sugar glaze or Fairtrade dark chocolate with 60% cocoa. With two varieties in one pack, they make an elegant Christmas gift, or a very good excuse to keep them all for yourself.
