Baked Apple

Baked apple is a lovely weaning option for babies, naturally sweet, soft in texture, and easy to digest. When gently baked, apples become tender and mellow, making them ideal for little mouths and developing tummies. Rich in vitamin C and fibre, they support immunity and healthy digestion, while their comforting warmth makes them especially suited to colder months.
This recipe is ideal for Stage 3, helping babies practise chewing and self-feeding.

FROM 10 MONTHS

Ingredients:

Preparation time: 15 minutes 

Method:

  1. Wash apples, cut off the top, hollow out.
  2. Remove the core and seeds, then cut the inside of the apple into small pieces, mix with the blueberries, the fruit jar and 2-3 tablespoons of the muesli.
  3. Heat in a pan and fill into the apples.
  4. Bake at 200°C top/bottom heat for about 5-10 minutes.
